Chelsea Upchurch is a proud 4th generation Bull City native and the founder of Green Hill Contracting. She partnered with Ken Combs, owner of CQC Home, to create Green Hill and serve clients that wanted the CQC experience of client communication and quality, but project size fell below CQC’s scope of business. Chelsea’s executive recruitment background has created the foundation for her to identify top talent for renovation project success and provide excellent client communication throughout the renovation process.
In Chelsea’s free time you can find her working towards completing her MBA at NC State University or with her horses and mini donkeys out in Stem, NC.
Josh has 26 years of construction experience ranging from flipping houses in the beginning of his career to working as the VP of Development for a large General Contracting firm in the area. Josh found his home at Green Hill Contracting when he realized he missed the client interaction and nimbleness of working in a smaller company. Growing up his first construction experience was building barns in upstate NY and fell in love with the building process. That love of building evolved into a life’s long journey in the construction industry leading construction projects as sr leader at large national building and investment firms.
In Josh’s free time, he loves spending time with his wife, daughter and two dogs.

This allows us to meet in person and discuss your project in more detail.

Home remodeling projects vary in size and scope which of course determines the timeline. At GreenHill we take scheduling seriously. We will present a detailed schedule for your project before a contract is signed and utilize project management software to maintain that schedule. This software is very interactive, and you will have access to your project’s activity from start to finish. While we do our best to set reasonable expectations and help you plan for contingencies, delays can still happen, and we are committed to communicating these things with you and working quickly to resolve them before they potentially impact your project timeline.
